Machine vision software company ViDi Systems signs a number of distribution agreements in North America

ViDi Systems, a Switzerland-based company that develops machine vision software, has signed distribution agreements in both the United States and Canada that will enable North American customers to access ViDi Suite software.

ViDi Suite is bio-inspired industrial vision software for automated inspection and classification. The software provides human-like visual inspection abilities combined with the consistency of automated visual inspection systems through a set of machine learning algorithms to separate different classes based on a collection of labeled images. The company recently won a Platinum award for the Vision Systems Design Innovators Awards program.
In May, ViDi Systems established a distribution agreement for all Canadian provinces with Rotalec, which will enable machine vision systems integrators and OEMs to access ViDI Suite. Also in May, ViDisigned an agreement with the Braas Company to distribute ViDi Suite in the north Midwest and Southeast of the United States, including Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Then in early June, ViDI entered into an agreement with Allied Automation, Inc., to provide ViDi Suite to customers in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. Most recently, ViDI announcement a partnership with The Knotts Company, Inc., to distribute ViDI Suite in southern New York (to Ulster County) and northern New Jersey (to Monmouth County.)
