Chromasens has announced the Version 1.41 firmware update for its allPIXA family of line scan cameras. The update is designed to improve the usability, image quality, and synchronization for the cameras and was developed based off user feedback. New features of the firmware include precise multiple camera synchronization, two additional reference sets for offset and shading correction, enhanced validation against faulty parameter values, and improved and simplified function for continuous white control. In addition, the firmware also features extended parameters and functionality of automatic insertion of machine and camera data inside the image. The company also reworked its allPIXA Camera Setup tool to include a more user-friendly interface with faster setup for cameras.
