Barr-Thorp Electric Company named new distributor of ipd machine-vision systems

APRIL 28--ipd (Billerica, MA; www.goipd.com), the intelligent products division of Coreco Imaging Inc. (St. Laurent, Canada), has named Barr-Thorp Electric Company Inc. (Merriam, KS; www.barr-thorp.com), as the Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska distributor of its machine-vision solutions.

"Barr-Thorp Electric has an outstanding reputation for backing their products, services, and application support with a high level of technical expertise," said Steve Geraghty, director of ipd. "The company's extensive knowledge and experience designing and maintaining automation systems in many industries will help ensure the successful implementation of ipd's machine-vision solutions."
