Xtium2 frame grabber models released by Teledyne DALSA

Teledyne DALSA has released two models in the new Xtium 2 frame grabber series for the PCIe Gen3 platform. The Xtium2-CLHS PX8 has 7 lanes running at 10 Gbits/s using the CLHS X-protocol, with transfer bandwidth over 6.8 GBytes/s, and support for a CX4 connector that is Active Optical Cable-ready that can run cable lengths over 15 m.

Teledyne DALSA has released two models in the new Xtium 2 frame grabber series for the PCIe Gen3 platform. The Xtium2-CLHS PX8 has 7 lanes running at 10 Gbits/s using the CLHS X-protocol, with transfer bandwidth over 6.8 GBytes/s, and support for a CX4 connector that is Active Optical Cable-ready that can run cable lengths over 15 m.

The Xtium2-CLHS FX8 uses four bidirectional SPF+ modules to provide 4.0 GBytes of image acquisition and transfer speeds up to 6.8 GBytes/s. The FX8 can extend cable lengths to 100 m and can support multiple independent CLHS cameras. Both boards feature the AIA's Camera Link HS interface, as well as support for CoaXPress ver 2.0 and Camera Link, and are fully supported by Sapera LT SDKs.
