Latest CoaXPress frame grabbers from BitFlow to be highlighted at VISION 2018

At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany, BitFlow will showcase its range of CoaXPress frame grabbers, including its Cyton-CXP models, which feature a Gen 2.0 x8 PCI Express bus interface on its back end.

At VISION 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany, BitFlow will showcase its range of CoaXPressframe grabbers, including its Cyton-CXP models, which feature a Gen 2.0 x8 PCI Express bus interface on its back end. Cyton-CXP frame grabbers support video capture speeds of up to 6.25 Gb/S and control commands and triggers can be sent simultaneously to the camera at rates up to 20 Mb/S (with a trigger accuracy of +/- 2 nanoseconds). The frame grabbers are available in two models, the CYT-PC2-CXP4, which supports four single-link CXP-6 cameras, two dual-link CXP-6 cameras, or one quad-link CXP-6 camera, and the CYT-PC2-CXP2 supports two single-link CXP-6 cameras or one dual-link CXP-6 camera.

Also on display will be the Aon-CXP single link CoaXPress frame grabber, which has a Gen 2.0 x2 PCI Express bus interface and captures video at speeds up to 6.25 Gb/s, while simultaneously sending control commands, triggers and up to 13 W of power over a single piece of 75 Ohm coaxial cable. With the Aon-CXP’s DMA engine, no CPU resources are used in moving images to host memory. Additionally, the frame grabber has BitFlow's StreamSync acquisition engine and buffer manager, which supports variable sized images with fast context switching between frames.
