Featuring four CoaXPress (CXP-12) connections, the Coaxlink Quad CXP-12 from Euresys offers an increased maximum connection bit rate of 12.5 Gbps, compared to the previous maximum data rate over a single connection of 6.25 Gbps. In total, this results in a maximum camera data transfer data over four connections of 5 GByte/s allowing operation of a 10-bit 12 MPixel area-scan sensor at more than three hundred images per second, or an 8-bit 16k line-scan sensor at 300 thousand lines/s.
Additionally, the frame grabber offers a PCIe 3.0 (Gen 3) x8 bus with 6.7 GBytes/s bandwidth, 20 digital I/O lines, camera control functions, and the Memento Event Logging Tool.
