• Optical filters suit disparate imaging systems

The new 1 mm filters are optimized for LEDs.
    July 23, 2020

Designed for imaging systems and machine vision applications, Schneider-Kreuznach's new 1 mm optical filters block unwanted wavelengths and surrounding light, while selected wavelength ranges are transmitted. A quarter wave wavefront distortion ensures that the MTF is not affected.

Placed between the lens and sensor, the filters feature a low reflectance coating and wavelength tolerance of +1%. Optimized for common LEDs used in machine vision, they are suited for automated inspection systems and beverage control or logistics. For day/night vision cameras, the VIS-85 type transmits in the visible 430-680 nm and 855 nm +15 nm range.
