Hyperspectral line light provides visible, IR, and SWIR illumination

Nov. 3, 2021
A modular design offers varied lengths and spectral output customization is available.

The COBRA HyperSpec SWIR line light provides illumination in the 400 - 1000 nm (visible and IR) and 950 - 1750 nm (SWIR) wavelength ranges. Its modular design includes models up to 6 m in length and the line light can also be developed in configurations of up to twelve wavelengths from 365 - 1700 nm, with spectral output balanced to any customer-specified camera.

Features include up to four independent strobe lines, chip-on-board for extreme brightness and high uniformity, on-board Ethernet control, and input power monitoring and error detection. According to the manufacturer, the COBRA HyperSpec SWIR line light is well matched to most color cameras from Specim, JAI, Teledyne Dalsa, and Basler among others.
