Nerian Vision GmbH has released a 3D depth camera that combines 3D stereo image capture and image processing in one device. The camera includes three Sony IMX296 image sensors: two monochrome and one color. It also has an infrared pattern projector. With dimensions of 130 x 92.5 x 34.5 mm and operating range from 0-40º C, the camera has a maximum resolution of 1.5 MPixels, maximum frame rate of 60 fps, and maximum disparity of 256 pixels. It works in both indoor and outdoor environments without interference from sunlight or other sensor technologies and is designed for applications such as agricultural robots, small autonomous robots, and bin picking.
