New 100 GigE Line Scan Camera Launched

Machine vision camera designed for variety of automated inspection applications.

Emergent Vision Technologies recently launched the Pinnacle TLZ-9KG5, a new 100 GigE line scan camera. Designed for a wide variety of inspection applications, the camera is equipped with a 100GigE QSFP28 interface and is capable of a top single line rate of 608 kHz. It also has a global shutter and the 9K, 256-stage TDI Gpixel GLT5009BSI CMOS sensor with a 5x5 µm pixel size and a 45.36 mm sensor scanning width. The camera supports cable lengths from 1 m up to 10 km without needing repeaters and is both GigE and GenICam compliant. The camera also has internal rotary or linear encoder support, M52 mount, 1 µs–1 s exposure/integration time, 66 dB dynamic range, flat shading and spatial corrections, and Windows and Linux O/S compatibility. The camera is 97 x 58 x 50 mm, weighs 395 g, and can operate in temperatures between 0° and 45°C.
