KEYENCE recently launched a new smart camera vision system line, the VS Series. The new system, designed for easy setup, does not require a control panel, nor does it require software to check IP addresses and connections. Rated at IP67, it comes with a built-in laser pointer, four mounting holes for various installation configurations, and supports Power over Ethernet, allowing power to be supplied to both camera and light with a single ethernet cable. It comes with a high-intensity smart ring illumination, which includes uniform emission with lighting lens, and AI-based imaging reproduction capability. It has up to 7GB internal storage, up to 44 fps framerate, and up to 4,400 x 3,295 MPixel resolution.
