CMOS sensor suits digital-still cameras
Combining all camera functions on a single chip, the 1/3-in. PB-300 CMOS image sensor provides 640 x 480 pixels for small digital-still cameras. It outputs color or monochrome full-frame 8-bit video at 30 frames/s. Features include electronic pan, tilt, and zoom; autoexposure; programmability via a serial interface; and on-chip pixel array, timing and control logic, and analog-to-digital converters.
