Adding to its line of Gocator 3100 3D snapshot sensors, LMI Technologies has announced the release of the Gocator 3109 3D Smart Snapshot Sensor. The Gocator 3109 is a stereo snapshot sensor that delivers 3D point cloud acquisition, measurements, and control decision capabilities in a single device. The device features dual image sensors, blue LED lighting, GigE interface, and a 86 x 67mm to 88 x 93m field of view. Additionally, the sensor features a web-based graphical interface with responsive feedback in 3D and CAD mode-based measurement parameters. The Gocator 3109 is designed specifically for industrial assembly line builders who need to perform robot-mounted and fixed frame inline 3D scanning and inspection of stationary targets.
