FLIR introduces new science grade infrared camera

FLIR’s A6700sc is a science-grade mid-wave infrared camera which features a 640 x 512 pixel format thermal detector and is designed for electronics inspections, medical thermography, manufacturing monitoring, and non-destructive testing.

FLIR’s A6700sc is a science-grade mid-wave infrared camera which features a 640 x 512 pixel format thermal detector. The A6700sc’s image output can be windowed to increase frame rates to 480 fps and can also stream temperature-calibrated data over Gigabit Ethernet to a PC for live image viewing and recording. In addition, FLIR’s ResearchIR software is included, which enables researchers and scientists to monitor, acquire, analyze, and share data. Its dimensions are only 7.7” x 4” x 4” and weigh 5 lbs. without the lens. Lastly, the A6700sc camera is designed for electronics inspections, medical thermography, manufacturing monitoring, and non-destructive testing.
