Point Grey will showcase its Grasshopper 3 and Blackfly camera lines at LASER World of Photonics 2013. The Grasshopper3 scientific imaging camera line leverages the latest in Sony EXview HAD CCD II™ technology with the ICX674, ICX694, and ICX687 sensors and combines these with the data throughput of USB 3.0. The Blackfly camera line, which is reportedly the world’s smallest and lightest Power over Ethernet camera, combines sensitive sensors and a host of features including a 16MByte frame buffer, LED status indicators, and an on-camera image processing pipeline.
