The annual International Symposium on Robotics (ISR) will take place at Automate 2015 in Chicago from March 23-26, according to the Association for Advancing Automation (A3).
ISR, which is sponsored by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), is an annual show that began in Chicago in 1970. The event brings global insights on the latest in robotics applications research, and was most recently held at Messe München in Munich, in junction with AUTOMATICA, which took place June 3-6. The symposium covered a wide range of robotics topics, including research and development, components and technologies, industrial robots, service robots, mobile robots, robots in emerging markets, and economic, social, and environmental issues.
With its integration into Automate 2015, attendees will have the chance to learn about the latest developments in robotics, machine vision, imaging, motion control, and other automation technologies.
"We are honored to be selected to host the 46th ISR in conjunction with Automate 2015," said Jeff Burnstein, President of the A3. "ISR attendees will have the opportunity to see the latest robotics and automation technologies, learn about cutting edge research, and gain practical applications expertise."
A3 is vetting experts in robotics, vision, motion control, automation, sensors, test and measurements, and systems integration to help educate the Automate audience, and speakers interested in submitting abstracts can do so here until September 30.
