Z-LASER’s Z3D-Control is a laser and camera based 3D measurement and control system designed for standardized 3D measurements and projections in various industries. The Z3D-Control consists of a pair of GigE cameras and a 638 nm red laser light source with an optional 450 nm blue laser light source also available. The system has a freely-adjustable measuring range, real-time tracking of location position, and proprietary Z3D software, with GEOMAGIC software also available as an option. In addition, the Z3D-Control system enables 3D measurements without reference targets, projection of 3D contours for assembly aid, target-actual comparison between CAD data and work piece, and display of target-actual differences through laser projection.
