NET New Electronic Technology has released a board-level multi-sensor HD camera, the HDselect, which features two color CMOS image sensors and a USB 3.0 interface. The HDselect has a 1x1mm 250 x 250 pixel Awaiba NanEye CMOS image sensor that features a 3 µm x 3 µm pixel size, 10-bit color depth, and a 44 fps frame rate. It also has a 1/3" Sony IMX035 1.3 MPixel CMOS image sensor that features 8-bit Y and 8-bit U/V color depth, 3.63 µm x 3.63 µm pixel size, and a 30 fps frame rate. HDselect features remote distances from camera head to camera controller of up to 5 meters and enables data transfers in 1080p. In addition, the camera features optional real-time image pre-processing tasks. The HDselect is suitable for use in machine vision, medical imaging, and robotics applications.
