FLIR Systems has announced the launch of a new and enhanced version of its T650sc thermal imaging camera, which utilizes a 640 x 480 pixel uncooled microbolometer infrared detector. The T650sc camera is able to measure temperatures of up to 3,632° F and includes a 5 MPixel digital camera that provides visual images that can be overlaid with infrared data. In addition, the cameras have a 25° x 19°/0.25m field of view, 30 Hz frame rate, a spectral range of 7.5 µm to 14 µm, and a USB interface. With the T650sc camera, 16-bit radiometric infrared video can be streamed (via USB) to a PC running the FLIR analysis software.
