Embedded vision development kit, lenses, and cameras from Basler to be shown at Automate

At Automate 2017 in Chicago, Basler will showcase a range of its latest products, including the Basler PowerPack for Embedded Vision, which is a development kit for integrating one of the company’s dart industrial cameras with a BCON for LVDS interface.

At Automate 2017 in Chicago, Basler will showcase a range of its latest products, including the Basler PowerPack for Embedded Vision, which is a development kit for integrating one of the company’s dart industrial cameras with a BCON for LVDS interface.

The kit contains a 5 MPixel dart camera module (MT9P031 CMOS image sensor from ON Semiconductor, 14 fps), with the BCON for LVDS interface, an S-Mount lens with fixed local length of 8 mm and IR-cut filter, a processing board with Xilinx Zynq-7010 system-on-chip (SoC), USB 3.0 cables, and additional accessories. Additionally, the kit contains a reference implementation demonstrating FPGA-based image capture by the Zynq SoC as well a connection of a dart BCON camera module to the Basler pylon camera software suite.

Additionally, Basler will showcase its new 1" lenses (pictured), new ace camera models with Sony Pregius CMOS image sensors, and its 3D Time of Flight camera.
