At The Vision Show 2018, Basler will have a booth for its machine vision products and a separate booth for its embedded vision products. At booth 403, Basler will showcase new ace U machine vision camera models (pictured) that feature IMX287 and IMX273 CMOS image sensors from Sony’s Pregius sensors, which are VGA and 1.6 MPixel sensors, respectively. Live demonstrations will include new features of the ace cameras, including PGI for monochrome cameras and stacked ROI.

At booth 917, Basler will showcase its embedded vision products, including the recently-launched dart BCON for MIPI embedded vision camera. This combines the MIPI CSI-2 interface, which was originally developed for smartphone camera modules with the machine vision standard GenICam and long-term availability. Additionally, the embedded vision booth will have two live demos, one featuring the dart BCON for MIPI and the other with facial recognition functionality.
