At The Vision Show 2018, CCS America will showcase its new LSS-2404 lighting controller for computational imaging, which is designed to be the center of any computational imaging system. The light sequencing switch (LSS), according to the company, offers an intuitive GUI and SDK for users to create and program the lighting sequences needed for computational imaging. The LSS-2404 can switch external +24 VDC power for up to four channels of lights.

Upon receiving an external system trigger, the controller executes a pre-programmed sequence of lighting on the four channels and outputs a correlated camera trigger, automatically timing an external camera exposure to the programmed lighting sequence. Additionally, the LSS-2404 can be set up as either master or salve in a system, and with its open architecture design, can be integrated with standard imaging software, any machine vision camera, and many smart cameras.
