On the move: Stuart Singer takes leadership role at Ruda Cardinal

Having spent the previous 24 years at Schneider Optics, the U.S. subsidiary of Schneider-Kreuznach, Stuart Singer is now on the move after being named Senior Technical Director of Ruda Cardinal, a Tucson, AZ, USA-based optical design and manufacturing company.

Having spent the previous 24 years at Schneider Optics, the U.S. subsidiary of Schneider-Kreuznach, Stuart Singer is now on the move after being named Senior Technical Director of Ruda Cardinal, a Tucson, AZ, USA-based optical design and manufacturing company.

Ruda Cardinal specializes in design, analysis, and unique problem solving, as well production, testing, and rapid prototyping, of optical systems. Singer brings to Ruda Cardinal his 38 years of optical manufacturing, lens design, program management and technical sales experience in military, aerospace and industrial/commercial applications.

For the last 7 years, Singer was Senior Vice President & CTO of Schneider Optics, and prior to that, Technical Director for 17 years. Before that, he was the Optical Engineering Manager at Loral Fairchild Systems, formerly known as Fairchild Reconnaissance and Surveillance System for 14 years.

Singer is a Senior Member of the Optical Engineering Society - SPIE. Over the years Stuart has published numerous technical papers and has been a frequent lecturer in the field of optics. Articles Singer has written or contributed to for Vision Systems Design include:
