Four new models in Basler's ace U line of inspectioncameras use the Sony Exmor R series' CMOS rolling shutter IMX183 sensor to produce images with a resolution of 20 MPixels up to 17 fps. The 1" sensor provides a pixel size of 2.4 µm with low shot noise, and the new ace U models have a 29 x 29mm footprint.

All four new ace U models feature Basler's PGI feature set for color and monochrome cameras, and GigE and USB 3.0 interfaces. The GigE models also offer GigE Vision 2.0 features such as PTP. Basler is promoting the new cameras as ideal for inspection in PCB or display production.
