New High Speed CMOS Image Sensor Launched

June 5, 2023
Capable of 57.3 mm image diagonal and a 120 kHz line rate.

Gpixel recently launched the GL3516, a high-speed, 16K resolution line scan CMOS image sensor with 3.5 μm pixels, capable of up to a 57.3 mm image diagonal and a 120 kHz line rate. Equipped with a Global shutter, it has a full well capacity of 5.6ke and read noise of 8.2 e-, providing a dynamic range of 56.6 dB. The sensor’s 10-bit pixel data is output via 25, 13, 7 or 4 Sub-LVDS channels each running at 120 kHz in single-line mode or 60 kHz in dual-line mode. GL3516 is compatible with Gpixel’s existing GL7008 8K line scan sensor and is offered in monochrome and color versions. Designed for easy integration, it can be used for industrial inspection applications requiring high-speed scanning and 16K resolution.
