Image Sensor designed for color sorting in automated inspection applications

Gpixel recently launched the  GL1402 line scan image sensor. Featuring a 2k horizontal resolution image sensor with 14 µm pixel size, it has a global shutter and is capable of a single-line frame rate of up to 81 kHz and R, G, B color line rate of up to 27 kHz (3 separated lines of 2k horizontal resolution for each color), which is facilitated through 4 lanes sub-LVDS with 12-bit output. It has a dynamic range of up to 70 dB with full well capacity of 28.7 ke- and a peak quantum efficiency of 70% at 550 nm. It has a 28.896 mm optical format. Available in color and monochrome versions, it has a 54-pin CLCC package with outer dimensions of 38 x 7.4 mm. It is designed for use in the color sorting industry in applications such as food inspection and OCT applications.
