OmniVision has released three new global shutter image sensors, the OG02B1B (monochrome) and OG02B10 (color) sensors, and the OV9285 sensor. All three models are based on the OmniPixel 3 x 3 µm 3-GS pixel tech that provides near-infrared sensitivity at 850 µm and 940 µm.
The 2 MPixel OG02B1B and OG02B10 sensors provide 1600 x 1300 resolution in a 1/2.9" optical format and a 15° chief ray angle that supports lenses with a wide field-of-view. The OV9285 has a 1.48 MPixel or 1328 x 1120 resolution in a 1/3.4" optical format and a 9° chief ray angle.
