Gpixel has released a new line of SWIR line scan image sensors, the GIR series. There are currently two available, GIR1201 and GIR2505. Both are sensitive in the 900 to 1700nm range and have a QE of 75% at 1550nm. Both support high gain and low gain modes and both have a 57.4 x 18.9mm footprint.

GIR1201 is a 1024 x 1 InGaAs line scan image sensor with 12.5µm square global shutter pixel.  It has a 72dB dynamic range, maximum data rate of 1.68 Gbps and maximum line frequency of 71.9 kHz.

GIR2505 is a 512 x 2 InGaAs line scan image sensor with a 25µm square global shutter pixel. It has a 70dB dynamic range and can achieve a maximum data rate of 1.68 Gbps and maximum line frequency of 40.4 kHz.

These sensors are especially designed for machine vision applications that require SWIR  imaging capabilities, such as food inspection, moisture detection, and semiconductor inspection.
