Konstanz, Germany, April 1, 2026 — Allied Vision today announced the allPIXA pro 6000px, a Camera Link® color linescan camera purpose-built for the relentless demands of high-speed machine vision inspection. With a 6000-pixel CCD 3-line RGB sensor, 34 kHz maximum line rate, and a spectral range spanning 400 nm to 1000 nm, the allPIXA pro 6000px captures every flaw, shade deviation, and surface anomaly, even on production lines that never stop moving.

Uncompromising Resolution at Production Speed

The allPIXA pro 6000px leverages a three-line CCD RGB sensor with 6000 pixels per line at a 10.00 µm × 10.00 µm pixel pitch. Operating over the Camera Link interface at a 85 MHz pixel clock, it builds continuous 2D images line by line with zero motion blur, whether the object races past a stationary camera or the camera traverses a static surface. Resolutions equivalent to thousands of dots per inch are achievable, unlocking defect detection at the sub-millimeter scale.

Spectral sensitivity from 400 nm (visible blue) through 1000 nm (near-infrared) means the allPIXA pro 6000px sees what the human eye cannot — subsurface contamination, hidden print registration errors, and subtle material variations invisible to conventional RGB cameras.

Color Fidelity Sets Industry Benchmark

In applications where a Delta-E deviation means a rejected print run, a failed food sort, or a misidentified recyclable, color accuracy is not optional. The allPIXA pro 6000px delivers exceptional color consistency across the full image width, frame after frame, enabled by:

·    Auto and manual white balance — calibrate once, trust the output continuously. The camera's continuous/auto white balancing is designed to handle ongoing adjustments dynamically.

·    Auto and manual gain control — adapt to ambient and line lighting conditions without sacrificing accuracy.

·    Manual exposure modes — full operator control for demanding or variable inspection environments.

·    Non-volatile 4 KByte flash memory — camera configurations survive power cycles, eliminating re-calibration downtime.

Variety of Demanding Applications

The allPIXA pro 6000px is purpose-engineered for the most demanding continuous-material inspection environments:

Print & Web Inspection: Detects color inconsistencies, registration errors, smudges, and tears in newspapers, magazines, labels, packaging, and printed electronics at full press speed.

Textile & Fabric: Identifies broken threads, color shifts, and pattern defects across continuous rolls of cloth before they become costly customer returns.

Food Inspection: Classifies ripeness, surface damage, and contamination by color on high-speed conveyors, across fruits, vegetables, grains, and processed goods.

Tile, Wood & Surfaces: High-resolution texture and color uniformity analysis for tiles (including glossy or shaded variants), wood panels, laminates, and flooring. Recycling & Sorting: Color-based material classification (plastics, metals, paper) at line speeds where human sorting is physically impossible.

Industrial-Grade Hardware

The allPIXA pro 6000px is housed in a compact 102 × 77 × 100 mm metal enclosure rated IP50 for protection against particulate ingress in factory environments. Its non-volatile flash memory ensures that calibration profiles, white balance settings, and gain configurations survive power cycles and system restarts, keeping production lines running and re-commissioning time to zero.

The Allied Vision allPIXA pro 6000px is available now through Allied Vision’s global distribution network and direct sales channels. Allied Vision cameras can be bundled with frame grabbers and other accessories to streamline workflow and enhance productivity.
