Universe Optic's UV2004B is a 200mm high-resolution lens designed for UV-B and UV-C wavelengths down to 193nm – the spectral range where some of the most demanding imaging challenges live – making it well-suited for precision machine vision applications as well as laboratory and industrial research environments.
UV imaging reveals what visible light cannot: surface micro-defects invisible to standard cameras, material compositions, fluorescent markers, and even phenomena like hydrogen flame visualization and electrical discharge detection. It's widely used in semiconductor inspection, pharmaceutical quality control, forensic analysis, and advanced scientific research.
