Delivering up to 2,500,000 lux (WHI version) at a 200mm working distance, the HPS Bar Light provides unrivalled brightness for machine vision cameras. With an ultra-fast 800 ns rise time, it synchronises flawlessly with camera exposure and conveyor speeds, ensuring perfect illumination stability at any throughput. Perfect for scan tunnels, high-speed sorting, and dimensional inspection, it enables pinpoint measurement, tracking, and verification of packages and components, even under challenging lighting conditions.

Application flexibility

With a 800ns rise time, the HPS Bar Light enables the camera to operate with extremely short shutter speeds, minimising motion blur in high-speed applications. This rapid response means triggering can be done by the camera eliminating the need for a dedicated timing controller. As a result, vision systems can achieve low exposure times while maintaining a greater depth of field and enhanced image sharpness. 

Available in these wavelengths: White (5700K), Red (630nm), IR (850nm), Green (525nm), Blue (470nm) 

250MM Angle Changer 

TPL Vision are thrilled to also reveal the 250mm Angle Changer, designed for selected products within the bar light range. At 2x larger than the existing 125mm Angle Changer, it delivers greater cost efficiency for users of larger bar lights. It offers the simplest way to alter the illumination angle, providing enhanced flexibility to adjust lighting as project requirements evolve. With its easy attachment design, the angle changer connects directly to the front of the bar lights with no dismantling required.

Angle Options:

Choose from Wide, Medium, Narrow, or Line Angle Changers.

A Polariser version is also available, along with polarised variants of all angle options. 

Curve Effect:

TPL Vision’s patented Curve Effect delivers exceptional light homogeneity across large fields of view. By using angle changers to adjust illumination intensity, users can effectively remove the central hot spot often seen in the middle of the FoV, a common challenge in pick-and-place and large FoV applications. With a wider angle changer, the light intensity at the centre of the bar is reduced, resulting in a more uniform image while maintaining high overall brightness.
