Compact USB 3.0 cameras from Basler

Initially introduced earlier this year, Basler’s line ofpulse USB 3.0 cameras (pictured above) has now launched into series production. The camera is available in three different models with color and monochrome versions, for a total of six different pulse cameras. These models include the puA1280-54um/uc, puA1920-30um/uc, and puA2500-14um/uc cameras. The USB 3.0 cameras feature 1.2, 2, and 5 MPixel CMOS image sensors from Aptina (ON Semiconductor) with pixel sizes of 3.75 µm, 2.2 µm, and 2.2 µm, respectively, with the cameras capable of achieving frame rates of 54, 30, and 14 fps.

Food and beverage OCR solution from Datalogic

Touted by Datalogic as a solution for variable data printing inspection in the food and beverage industry,IMPACT+ OCR combines both smart cameras and software into a preconfigured bundle. The solution includes the new 1.3 MPixel IMPACT P19 model in Datalogic’s P-Series smart camera and a graphical user interface that provides setup and configuration for any OCR application. Lenses and illuminators are fully interchangeable and can be mounted and replaced by the user, while five focal lengths and nine lighting options offer 45 different combinations.

UAV LIDAR system from L'Avion Jaune

TheYellowScan standalone LIDAR system was designed by L'Avion Jaune specifically for surveying solutions for UAVs and other small aircraft. The system features a Class 1 laser with a 905 nm wavelength with a maximum range of 100 m and a range resolution of 4 cm. The scanner has a field of view of 100° and is able to capture 40,000 shots per second.

Sony CMOS image sensor reference design kits from FRAMOS

Designed to enable users creating a custom vision solution to save development costs, reduce risk, and bring products to market faster, thereferences design kits (RDK) from SMARTEK via FRAMOS work with the Sony IMX174 and IMX249 CMOS image sensors from the global shutter Pregius series. The RDKs contain all of the necessary components needed to understand the design of a sensor into a vision system.

Scientific imaging camera from Lambert Instruments

Designed for scientific and industrial applications that require low-light imaging, theTRiCAM camera from Lambert Instruments features a fiber-optically attached image intensifier that boosts incoming light, enabling the capture of images in challenging light conditions. The TRiCAM is based on a 2.3 MPixel electronic global shutter CMOS image sensor with a 5.86 µm pixel size that can achieve frame rates up to 162 fps.

USB 3.0 camera from IDS

Featuring multiple area-of-interest, line scan, or HDR mode, theUI-3370CP Rev. 2 USB 3.0 camera from IDS Imaging Development Systems is suitable for use in such applications as machine vision and factory automation, microscopy, and traffic monitoring. The USB 3.0 camera is based on the 4 MPixel CMV4000 CMOS image sensor from CMOSIS, which has a 5.5 µm pixel size and can achieve frame rates of up to 75 fps.
