Embedded World 2019 preview: Spotlight on display trends, future displays, OLEDs, and LEDs

More than 1,000 exhibitors and speakers, from 52 countries, will be present at the Embedded World 2019 trade fair, dedicated to embedded systems in the security, distributed intelligence, IoT, e-mobility, and other industries, from February 26 to February 28 at the Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg, Germany. More than 34,000 attendees, from 77 countries, are expected at the event. The embedded world Conference and electronic displays Conference will also take place during Embedded World 2019.

More than 34,000 attendees, from 77 countries, are expected at the event. The embedded world Conference and electronic displays Conference will also take place during Embedded World 2019.

Embedded world Conference

Over 2,100 embedded systems developers, specialists, and project and product managers are expected to attend this year's embedded world Conference. More than 250 presentations will be offered at the conference, arranged into ten program tracks:

  • Connected Systems
  • Embedded OS
  • Safety & Security
  • Hardware Engineering
  • Software & Systems Engineering
  • Embedded Vision
  • Autonomous & Intelligent Services
  • Embedded GUI & HMI

Twelve classes that provide comprehensive, basic information on selected topics, delivered via condensed training courses, will also be offered at the conference. Available class topics include:

  • Side channel power analysis

Electronic displays Conference

This year's electronic displays Conference, held on February 27 and 28, will feature a special focus on automotive displays, new display technologies, and optimizations for various display applications.

Sessions will cover topics such as:

  • e-paper
  • AR/VR

Keynote speakers will present on display trends, future displays, OLEDs, and LEDs.
