Taipei Industrial Automation Exhibition puts focus on Industry 4.0 and intelligent automation
For the 28th year in a row, the Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition will bring together global experts in factory automation, robotics, machine vision, and more.
From August 31 to September 3, Chan Chao International Co. Ltd. and the Economic Daily News, along with their partners from the German Trade Office Taipei, will host the show, which in 2015, attracted more than 350 exhibitors and 73,500 visitors from August 26-29. This year, according to the show website, the exhibition will place an emphasis on intelligent automation and Industry 4.0, as the government is actively promoting these programs to “to drive development and enhance competitive ability of the intelligent automation industry.”
The show provides an exhibition that will highlight technologies that include, but are not limited:
- Industry 4.0 equipment and software
- Automation control systems
- Industrial robots
- Testing/measurement equipment
- Manufacturing equipment for machine tools and electronics
- Software for CAD/CAM/CAE
Examples of some products that will be showcased that were covered on Vision Systems Design include:
- 3D cameras and in-camera optimization technology from Basler
- Industrial cameras from The Imaging Source
- Bi-telecentric lenses from Opto Engineering
- Machine vision lenses from VS Technology
Additionally, the show will feature a seminar on a relevant topic that is set to be announced soon. Last year, the show held a seminar on Smart Manufacturing 4.0, in which a number of industry experts discussed the topic at length.
