USB 3.0 hybrid active optical cable from Intercon 1 to be shown at VISION 2018

On display at the Intercon 1 booth at VISION 2018 will be the new high-flex hybrid active optical cable assembly. The cable is a robotic-grade, high-flex design that contains both copper and fiber and supports data rate transfer up to 5 Gbps.

The cable is a robotic-grade, high-flex design that contains both copper and fiber and supports data rate transfer up to 5 Gbps. The cable also offers a thumbscrew locking feature, a bend radius of 50 mm, and a travel distance of 2000 mm. Additionally, the electro-magnetic interference-resistant cable achieves 6 cycles per minute (back and forth = 1 cycle), while supporting an operating temperature range of 32° to 122°F.
