Multipix Imaging (Petersfield, UK) is holding a technology day on June 21 at Twickenham Stadium in the UK in which several vendors will deliver presentations on the subject of machine vision.

A number of case studies will be delivered highlighting how image processing systems have been used in the electronics, automotive, food and beverage, broadcast, sports analysis, and medical industries.

Representatives from Datalogic Automation (Bologna, Italy) will discuss how smart sensors and systems have been used in manufacturing and logistic processes, while those from camera maker Basler (Ahrensburg, Germany) will describe the technical aspects and applications for the new USB 3.0 Vision standard.

Those interested in high-speed imaging interfaces will be treated to presentations from IO Industries (London, ON, Canada) who will discuss the HD-SDI and CoaXpress standards, and Pleora Technologies (Kanata, ON, Canada) who will describe how the GigE standard will allow developers to deploy a new generation of cameras and sensors to create vision networks.

A presentation from MVTec Software (Munich, Germany) will demonstrate how the latest version of its Halcon software -- Halcon 11 -- can be used in the development of image processing systems for the inspection of consumer products.

Delegates will finish the day with an exclusive tour of Twickenham stadium.

OEMs, system integrators, and end users are welcome to register for the event here.
