OCTOBER 20--To further strengthen global customer support, US-based machine-vision supplier Applied Vision (Akron, OH, USA) recently opened sales offices in Germany and Japan. The new European direct sales office is based in Augsburg, Germany, and is headed up by regional sales manager Peter Krapalek. This office serves mainland Europe in partnership with M.K. Inspection Services, a full-service distributor of Applied Visions line of machine-vision inspection systems for packaging, containers, and color printing for the food and beverage industry.
