Multiprocessing VME runs at 6400 MIPs Configured with up to four TMS320C6201 DSPs, the Model 3134 VME processing board can execute eight 32-bit instructions parallel within a 5-ns instruction cycle time to yield a total of 1600 MIPs. Each C6201 includes 8 Mbyte of SDRAM, 1 Mbyte flash RAM. Each C6201 has access to 2-Mbyte global SRAM that is memory mapped to VME address space. With a PMC interface, the board costs $6000.
