    Cognex has announced the release of the In-Sight VC200, a multi smart camera vision system that gets faster with each camera added.

    Cognexhas announced the release of the In-Sight VC200, a multi smart camera vision system that gets faster with each camera added. The system supports up to four In-Sight cameras (compatible with In-Sight micro vision system models 8402 and 8405) with its four GigE with Power over Ethernet ports, and also features two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, discrete I/O (8 in, 16 out), 24 VDC power, locking HDMI port, and an SD card. Additionally, the fanless In-Sight VC200 has 8GB non-volatile flash memory, 2 GB SDRAM image processing memory, and features a customizable, web-enabled HMI, providing monitoring and control through password-protected access levels. Lastly, the vision system uses In-Sight vision software tools, including PatMax RedLine—the company’s new tool for pattern location—and OCRMax.
