    USB 3.0 fiber extenders from Phrontier Technologies to be showcased at VISION 2016 in Stuttgart.

    PHORCE USB 3.0 fiber extenders from Phrontier Technologies—which were designed to extend USB 3.0 connections between the typical 3-meter reach limit of copper cables—will be showcased atVISION 2016 in Stuttgart. The extenders are available in two product lines: a PCI Express fiber extender and a standalone fiber extender, each of which have four models with various options, depending on customer need. The standalone extenders work up to 300 meters via single mode, multimode, or CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing), while the PCIe extenders work up to 1 km via single mode optical fiber.)
