Alliances accelerate

Stocker & Yale Inc. (Salem, NH; www.stkr.com), a leading supplier of illumination technology, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Illumination Technologies Inc. (Syracuse, NY; www.illuminationtech.com), a provider of photonic platforms. Stocker & Yale is coupling its fiberoptic and fluorescent lighting and laser pattern projector and phase-mask technologies with Illumination Technologies' patented dc illuminator technologies.

A leading provider of motion-tracking technology, InterSense Inc. (Burlington, MA; www.isense.com) is partnering with i-O Display Systems LLC (Sunnyvale, CA; www.i-glasses.com), a supplier of head-mounted personal display devices. InterSense is planning to package its inertia tracking systems with i-O Display's i-glasses for real-time 3-D applications.
