JAI introduces 2.8MPixel CCD cameras for new Elite series
JAI’s EL-2800M-PMCL and EL-2800C-PMCL CCD cameras are the first two models in the company’s new Elite Series of high-fidelity industrial cameras. The cameras are suitable for use in outdoor applications such as traffic and surveillance, as well as machine vision inspection, robotics, and microscopy.
JAI’s EL-2800M-PMCL and EL-2800C-PMCL CCD cameras are the first two models in the company’s new Elite Series of high-fidelity industrial cameras. These 2.8 MPixel cameras feature a frame rate of 54.7 fps at full resolution and 60 fps in HD and an automatic level control that combines automatic gain control, auto-shutter, and auto iris lens function. With an extended temperature range of -45° to +70°C (-49° to +158°F) and a programmable 3-axis motorized control capability, the cameras are well suited for outdoor applications such as traffic and surveillance and sports imaging. In addition to Bayer output, the EL-2800C-PMCL model can perform in-camera color 24-bit RGB interpolation at 15.8 fps. The EL-2800M-PMCL model offers NIR sensitivity and supports 1x2, 2x1, or 2x2 binning modes for even greater sensitivity. The cameras are also suited for semiconductor inspection, microscopy, machine vision inspection, and robotics.
