Updated VDS Vosskuhler camera captures 400 images per second

Nov. 2, 2011
The enhanced CMC-4000 camera from VDS Vosskuhler captures nearly 400 images per second at a resolution of 2320 × 1726 pixels.

The enhanced CMC-4000 camera captures nearly 400 images per second at a resolution of 2320 × 1726 pixels. With the readout area reduced, image capture rate can be increased. The camera is equipped with a global-shutter sensor, exposing all pixels simultaneously, and enabling recording of fast-moving objects. The CMOS sensor produces low-noise images through 10-bit analog-to-digital converters and an internal fixed-pattern noise correction. Data output is dual Camera Link (10-tap) with 8 bits per pixel.

NEW PRODUCT PRESS RELEASE

4 MPixel High Speed CMOS Camera

The enhanced VDS Vosskühler CMC-4000 camera achieves nearly 400 images per second at a resolution of 2320 x 1726 pixels. Owing to a reduction of the read-out area (ROI) the image rate can even be considerably increased.

The camera is equipped with a global-shutter sensor exposing all pixels simultaneously, enabling in this way the exact recording of fast moving objects.

The CMOS sensor produces excellent low-noise images through 10 bit AD converters and an internal fixed pattern noise correction.

The digital data output is dual CameraLink (10-tap) with 8 bits per pixel.
