JUNE 8, 2007--Laboratory-instrumentation-manufacturer Fluid Imaging Technologies (Yarmouth, ME, USA; www.fluidimaging.com) has more than doubled its space to 3800 square feet in a new Class A facility that features a new-product R&D center, an in-house sample-testing laboratory, manufacturing space, and office space to accommodate plans that call for a 100% increase in staff. Triggered by a greater than 100% increase in sales over the past three years to customers such as the US Navy, Environmental Protection Agency, Massachusetts Water Resource Authority, and several Fortune 500 companies, moving to the new facility will enable the company to capitalize on its fast pace of growth.
Fluid Imaging Technologies manufactures the patented FlowCAM particle imaging and analysis system and plans to unveil several new models to boost penetration in key markets. A host of software-based enhancements for measuring and analyzing particles and biological cells are also in development.
