Cohu Electronics factory reopened
OCTOBER 24 2007--The Cohu Electronics (www.cohu.com) factory reopened today with limited staffing, following two days of closure caused by the extraordinary wildfires burning in San Diego (California) county. The factory is operating on reduced staff. The Kearny Mesa facility was closed in accordance with local officials' request that nonessential people remain off the highways.
At this time, the fires remain, essentially, out of control, but the changing weather is allowing for more aggressive fire fighting techniques than were previously possible.
The staff of Cohu Electronics gratefully acknowledges the well wishes it has received.
