It’s June already—and if you’re expecting the longer, warmer days to slow things down, think again. Around here, time seems to be accelerating. In just a few weeks, I’ll be heading “home” to Chicago for Automate 2026, North America’s largest automation and robotics trade show. Hard to believe we’re already here; this year is moving fast.
We’ve been ramping up coverage of A3’s flagship event, and if Automate isn’t already on your calendar, this is the year to change that. The North and South Halls of McCormick Place will be buzzing with the latest in automation and robotics—including the vision systems powering next-generation inspection, guidance, and analytics.
Be sure to stop by the Innovation Stage at Booth 19046 (don’t miss our recognition of Vision Systems Design’s 2026 Innovators Awards honorees at 11 a.m. CDT on Monday, June 22), check out the AMR demo area, and explore more than 1,000 exhibitors across the show floor.
And new this year: the Humanoid Robot Pavilion, sponsored by NVIDIA. This free-to-attend experience will showcase live demos and feature a dedicated theater where exhibitors will present their latest humanoid innovations throughout the show.
