Face it, there aren`t many software packages available for face recognition. But those that are, both commercial and public domain, can be found here. Maintained by Peter Kruizinga ([email protected]), the page includes links to commercial products such as TrueFace from Miros, FaceVACS from Siemens Nixdorf, and FaceIt PC by Visionics. Freeware links to recognition packages from MIT, Carnegie Mellon, and Rostov University are provided. To test out this software, the author also provides links to many face databases at MIT, the University of Essex, Olivetti`s Research Laboratory, and the University of Bern.
