Creaform has announced the launch of two new versions of its Go!SCAN 3D scanners, the Go!SCAN 20 and GO!SCAN 50. The Go!SCAN 50 was designed to measure the shape of medium to larger parts and the Go!SCAN 20 is designed for use with smaller objects with intricate details. Both models feature a 550,000 measure/second scan rate, white LED lighting, and a volumetric accuracy of 0.0036 in/ft. The Go!SCAN 20 has a scanning area of 5.6 in. x 4.3 in., a resolution of 0.008 in., and an accuracy of 0.004 in. The GO!SCAN 50 features a scanning area of 15 in. x 15 in., a resolution of 0.020 in., and an accuracy of 0.002 in. In addition, the scanners feature a depth of field of 4 in. (Go!SCAN 20), and 10 in. (Go!SCAN 50.) The scanners are suitable for use in 3D measurements, product analysis and prototyping, quality control, restoration, heritage preservation, and reverse engineering.
