SEPTEMBER 11--BFi OPTiLAS (Evry, France; www.bfioptilas.avnet.com), a technical distributor of specialist products and services to the electronics and optronics markets, has signed an exclusive pan-European agreement for the distribution and representation of Janos Technology Inc. Janos has been producing precision infrared optics in Vermont, USA, for more than 25 years.
BFi OPTiLAS focuses on niche technology products such as magnetics, lasers, sensors, electro-optics, imaging, fiberoptics, RF and microwave and other specialty components, systems, assemblies and metals. Some 350 sales engineers and other staff are employed at 12 offices throughout Europe.
AGAMS Technologies AG has been chosen as official reseller for JDS Uniphase test-and-measurement instruments in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovacia, Czechia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, and Italy. For more than 20 years, JDS Uniphase Instrumentation has built solutions for testing of fiberoptic components and systems. The result of the intensive use of the instruments in-house at JDS Uniphase plants and on customer sites guarantees reliable and mature products.
