    Silicon Image Inc. has unveiled its Sil 164 Digital Visual Interface (DVI) transmitter chip that supports display resolutions from VGA to UXGA, flat-panel monitors, digital projectors, and the emerging digital CRTs. It runs the 5-Gbit/s single-link bandwidth DVI specification developed by the Digital Display Working Group.
